“I understand the reluctance many clients may feel when dealing with personal issues and relationships in a therapuetic session. I want my client/s to experience comfort and relief by presenting understanding, practical tools and information they can take with them even during the first session. I teach communication approaches that improve relationships between couples, children and blended families.

I use a cognitive behavioral approach to empower the client with long lasting results and strategies. Family of origin issues are also identified to help the client understand patterns that may be hindering harmonious relationships. I prefer a client-centered approach.

I have a wide range of experience working with adolescents as a teacher in a correctional facility, teaching substance abuse classes, anger management and children with PTSD issues. Helping clients understand the roots of anger, fear and guilt in their lives free them to a hopeful future.”
