“My specialty is in helping individuals who are dealing with the aftermath of a traumatic event, or years of cumulative stress. I believe that each person has the capacity to know how to heal from difficult experiences, but at times needs to have someone to talk to and guide them through the process of recovery. Anxiety, depression, panic attacks,phobias, and a faulty belief system result from these life changing events. Without a strong support system, it is very difficult to recover in a healthy way without a trained professional there to help.

I use a variety of methods to help individuals recover, and become balanced again. I take a person-centered approach with all my clients. Using cognitive/behavioral approaches, EMDR, solution-focused techniques, and exploring any spiritual connection are many of the approaches I utilize.

I have training in mediation, critical incident debriefing techniques, and EMDR. I also provide small group workshops,and presentations on topics such as assertiveness, stress management, and conflict resolution. I have extensive experience working with diverse populations, including working with interpreters. I provide psychological evaluations and written reports.”
