“Being able to balance all of the areas of our lives makes us feel more confident and gives us the ability to manage stress and take on new challenges with more self esteem. Many of us establish behaviors that work against us and as we move through the counseling process these behaviors will be explored through questions like: how the behaviors and events in our past affect our life now, how can we work to get past them, what are we "protecting" ourselves from, and are we feeling in control our lives.
My goal is to provide the best atmosphere for you to safely open up and receive the help you are seeking. I do this by drawing on a variety of disciplines that include; existential, humanistic, cognitive behavioral, relaxation techniques, and establishing coping skills.
I have always been fascinated by the strength and resiliency that individuals posses, and are usually not aware of. My interest in how we process and deal with the experiences we encounter in our lives helps me explore with the client their own strength and power to balance their lives.”
