“When I meet with someone in therapy, my hope is to develop a connected partnership towards meeting their personal goals. My interpersonal style is caring and supportive while I work conscientously with an approach that respects the entire experience of an individual. In the past 30 years I have worked with all ages coming from diverse backgrounds and lifestyles. In my interactive, client based style, I work in the context of a person's developmental history as well as with their personal beliefs and dreams. Skills of managing stress, strengthening ones sense of self, and improving interpersonal relationships are often needed.

I deeply believe in the process that moves a person(s)toward their personal potential. I work with a wholistic method of helping people move ahead called EMDR (please inquire). I attend to stress/anxiety reduction with mindfulness and various relaxation methods. My approach is integrative.

Physical health is core to mental health therefore I work also with life adjustments to health issues including pain management.I also have a specialty in performance psychology, having helped a broad spectrum of athletes, musicians and other performers. I enjoy adolescents particularly with these concerns.”
